Yep, that’s what it feels like. That’s why I’ve cut her some slack in the past. Inside the robot is someone decent. Her party is fucked though. They’re Microsoft. Nothing they do can change the fact they’ve become rotten and inert at the core.

As for being a slave to focus groups and opinion polls: how about we get a leader who naturally commands respect and conviction with a human touch? The kind of person that doesn’t respond to opinion polls. The kind of person who does their thing because it’s the only way they *can* do it and *turns* opinion polls over gradually.

Oops, that’ll never happen. The reactionary media will have a field day and the people in the party too boring to be at the front will panic too much and get them booted before they even started.

I wanted to mess around with electronic beats and synths for the very first time. It still has guitar-dominance going on. Maybe next time I’ll go further down the electronic rabbit hole, inspired by the latest albums by Radiohead / Sufjan Stevens.
